well good evening Anglers
the sand bass are still the mains stay for us, Not really sure what to make of the rest of the fish we would be catchig this time of year. the yellow tail and bluefin are still around but just don’t want to get with the program. We are as said yesterday spending some time looking for the surface stuff but they just dont want to play…….as for the sand bass they wanted to bite a little bit for us yesterday .Dont be surprised if we make some deep drops this weekend, to get some sack fillers around the islands… It seems the reds want to bite bit. We dont normally fish the deep stuff until nov or dec. but it is a back up for us. the counts for the past two days as follows
08-11-2010 3/4 Day 24 anglers 21 California Scorpionfish, 1 California Halibut, 43 Barred Sand Bass
08-12-2010 3/4 Day 21 anglers 72 Barred Sand Bass 5 California barracuda and 21 rock fish
We are hoping for a change and some surface fish move up and the fish start to bite instead of just tease, we will see.

Well good afternoon all
Yesterday we had a charter with 17 anglers and the sand bass fishing was very good with limts or 85 san bass for our 17 anglers and they had a blast.over all the condition at the islands has not change much with the current going out to sea and the yellow tail and bluefin showing but not biting. The way it is looking it might take off this weekend. the forecast looks good from what the weather man is saying. it might be a little windy but thats it as for the counts for yesterday
15 Calico bass, 85 Sand bass, 3 Barracuda, 8 Rockfish
not a bad day for our anglers
